Net Zero design
QUANTIFIED CIRCULAR DESIGN. BUILT A ROADMAP TO NET ZERO.
How can product teams turn circular goals into measurable impact?
Rethink. Measure. Optimize.
To demonstrate the value of circular design, I led the redesign of a pool water-testing PaaS device and built an in-house team to quantify both environmental and financial impact. Comparing the new circular device with the professional in-store unit revealed significant CO₂ and cost reductions, verified through Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and should-cost analysis.
In the process, I turned abstract sustainability goals into concrete steps, codifying a four-step roadmap that tackles both decarbonization and cost reduction on the path to Net Zero.

PATH TO NET ZERO
A four-step framework that helps teams decarbonize while reducing costs
MY ROLE
Led cross-functional team to translate LCA insights into a strategic Net Zero and circular design blueprint.
Led the project from inception, securing funding and building a cross-functional team
Led LCA and cost analysis workstreams to identify key carbon and cost levers
Developed a Net Zero strategy and circular design blueprint
Demonstrated CO₂ and cost reduction potential while embedding circular principles
Design beyond responsibility
Sustainable design succeeds when it's desirable, not just responsible. I've seen firsthand that when circular products deliver on convenience, price, and performance, sustainability isn't a compromise—it becomes the obvious choice.
Easy and convenient.
I didn’t realize how easy it was to use. It’s made all the difference in taking care of my pool. I struggled for years trying to find an honest pool service company. Decided to do all the pool services myself and I can honestly say the AccuBlue has been a game changer. Tells you exactly how to service your pool. So glad I decided to get it.
